A school headmistress was today killed while her husband and another person sustained serious injuries when their jeep collided with a mini-truck near a village in Dindori district.
Yashoda Kusram (55), the headmistress of Gadasarai Government Boys School in the district, was on way to the school along with her husband and another person when their vehicle was hit by the mini-truck near Basnia village, assistant sub-inspector Shyam Sharan Shukla said.
Yashoda died on the spot.
The two injured persons were admitted to the district hospital, he said.
The body has been sent for autopsy, police said, adding they have registered a case in this regard.
