School Manager shot dead in Bareilly

A 35 year-old school manager was today allegedly shot dead by bike-borne assailants when he had gone to drop his son to school in Izzatnagar police station area here, police said.

Mohammad Jabbar, also working as a property dealer, was on his way to drop his son to Hartman school when he was shot at by motorcycle-borne miscreants this morning, SP(City), Rajiv Mehrotra said.

The victim was rushed to district hospital where he succumbed to injuries, he said.

A case has been registered in this connection and efforts are on to nab the accused, police said.
