School teacher arrested for sexually abusing student

A private school teacher was arrested today for sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl student, police said.

The 27-year-old teacher was arrested after examining CCTV footages in the school which showed that he had followed the sixth standard girl while she was going the toilet few days back, police said.

After reaching home, the girl narrated about the incident to her parents, who lodged a police complaint.

The girl had been admitted to hospital.

Meanwhile, the school management said they have suspend the teacher.
