A case was registered against a teacher of a private school for allegedly beating a class VII student for not doing homework, police said.
The boy, identified as P. Mallikarjun, is a student of the school located on Pochamma Street in Jagtial town in the district.
A case is registered today after a complaint was filed with police by the boy's family, police said.
