The South Central Railway (SCR) will run 52 weekly Suvidha special trains on from Visakhapatnam to Secunderabad and Tirupati from April to June in order to clear the extra rush of passengers.
The weekly Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad (train no 08501) will depart Visakhapatnam at 11 PM on every Tuesday from April 5 to June 28 and reach Secunderabad at 12 PM the next day, a South Central Railway press release said.
Train no.08502 from Secunderabad will run on every Wednesday from April 6 to June 29. It will depart Secunderabad at 4:30 PM and reach Visakhapatnam at 4:30 AM the next day.

The trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Elluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet stations in both directions.
These Suvidha trains will consist of 22 coaches.
The weekly Suvidha Visakhapatnam-Tirupati (train no. 08573) train will run from Visakhapatnam on every Monday between April 4 and June 27 at 10:55 PM and reach Tirupati at 1:25 PM on Tuesday, the release said.
In the return journey, train no.08574 will depart Tirupati at 3:30 PM on every Tuesday from April 5 to June 28 and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 6:50 AM the next day.
The trains will halt at Duvvada, Ankapalli, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, New Guntur, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti and Renigunta stations in both directions.

Police said a total of 16 batteries and six cables were stolen by unidentified persons.
According to the police, the local trains remained stranded as the overhead electric wire at Dadar railway station could not receive current as a result of the missing cables.
A case was registered at Shahu Nagar police station against unidentified persons under sections 454 (lurking house-trespass or house-breaking in order to commit offence punishable with imprisonment), 457 (lurking house-trespass or house-breaking by night in order to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) and 380 (theft in dwelling house, etc) of IPC.
