The Centre has a solution for the on-going sealing drive but the intent is missing, the AAP said today, and accused the BJP of misleading people and shifting the blame to the Delhi government.
"Today Central Govt UD Minister announced few measures to stop sealing in Delhi. This is exactly what AAP has been screening for last 2 months. Solution was with Central Govt, the intention was missing. BJP kept misleading the people by diverting the blame on Delhi Govt.BJP exposed," AAP spokesperson Saurabh Bharadwaj tweeted.
Earlier in the day, Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said the Delhi Development Authority was in the process of amending Delhi's Master Plan 2021 to provide relief to the traders from the ongoing sealing drive.
Municipal corporations in Delhi have undertaken the sealing drive initiated by a Supreme Court-appointed monitoring committee. Commercial premises have been sealed for failing to deposit conversion charges according to provisions in Master Plan 2021.
