Second day's play in Sportstar Trophy washed out

The second day's play in the 28th Sportstar Trophy MCA under-19 cricket trial tournament was washed out without a ball being bowled due to rains here today.

There was no play on the opening day, September 17, too and matches were was to commence today after a day's break because of Ganesh idols' immersion.

Tomorrow is the third and final day of the first round league games featuring Vijay Merchant XI, Vijay Manjrekar XI, Dattu Phadkar XI and Khandu Rangnekar XI.
