To counter terrorist activities or any eventuality, security has been beefed up in and around Mathura Refinery.
"While extra vigil is being maintained around Mathura Refinery, security inside refinery is being looked after by CISF," deputy SP Ajai Pal Sharma said.
Security inside refinery has also been strengthened.
"While frisking inside refinery has been intensified, additional deployment has been made at strategic points.
"Intelligence machinery has been geared up with instruction to make liason with district administration and inform any new information to them," PRO, CISF, Hemender Singh said.
