Nickel, brass, zinc and select copper prices advance further at the non-ferrous metal market here on buying by stockists amid sustained demand from industrial users on the back of bullish global cues.
On global front, industrial metal copper climbed at the LME in early trade, as gauges of China's factory activity showed the country's economy deteriorating in September, sparking short-covering in holiday-thinned trade.
Nickel spurted by Rs 20 per kg to Rs 840 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 820.

Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar rose by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 415 and Rs 443 against Rs 410 and Rs 438, yesterday.
Copper scrap heavy gained by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 409 from Rs 405.
Copper utensils scrap and zinc moved up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 380 and Rs 150 from Rs 378 and Rs 148.
Brass utensils scrap and brass sheet cutting inched-up by a Re per kg each to Rs 300 and Rs 308.
