Prices of thoor dal, urad dal and moog dal increased, while maida moved down, rest of the commodities ruled stedy in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.

Thoor dal and urad dal both rose by Rs.500 each per quintal to Rs.7,800 and Rs.8,000 from Rs.7,300 and Rs. 8,000 respectively.

Moong dal was up by Rs.400 per quintal to Rs.7,200 from Rs.6,800.

However Maida (90kg) moved down by Rs 100 to Rs. 2,600 from Rs.2,700.

Gram dal, Sugar, Wheat and sooji (90kg) prices ruled steady.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,800, Urad Dal Rs 8,000, Moong Dal Rs 7,200, Gram Dal Rs 7,500, Sugar Rs 4,080, Wheat Rs 2,600, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,600 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
