Select copra prices eases on weak demand

Copra office Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode eased in an otherwise lacklustre spices market here today due to subdued offtake by stockists and retailers.

Rest all other spices maintained a stable trend in the absence of necessary buying support.

Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode both went down by Rs 25 per quintal to Rs 4,600 and Rs 4,500 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 4,625 and Rs 4,525.
