Select copra spurts on good demand, low arrivals

Copra Alapuzha and cora Kozhikode prices rose sharply at the spices market here today on heavy demand from stockists and exporters amid tight domestic supplies.

While, rest all other spices closed at their overnight levels in the absence of necessary buying support.

Copra office Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode both surged by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 4,500 and Rs 4,400, respectively as compared to Wednesday's closing level of Rs 4,400 and Rs 4,300.
