Select dry fruits up on seasonal demand

Prices of select dry fruits rose up to Rs 200 at the wholesale dry fruits market today mostly on the back of pick-up in festive season demand.

In the national capital, almond (California) rose by Rs 200 to Rs 18,400 per 40 kg. Its kernel moved up by Rs 15 to Rs 650-670 per kg.

Pistachio Irani, Hairati and Peshwari were also gained Rs 10 each to Rs 1,240-1,290, Rs 1,330-1,380 and Rs 1,505-1,580 per kg, respectively.

Copra too was seen in demand and went up by Rs 200 to Rs 21,600-24,600 per quintal.

Following are today's quotations (per 40 kg):
 

Almond (California) Rs 18,400, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 8,000-8,200; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 4,600-4,800; Abjosh Afghani Rs 8,000-22,000.

Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 650-670 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 500-540 per kg.
