Select metro station to sell World Book Fair tickets

Tickets for the World Book Fair will be available for sale at 48 metro stations, few of them having dedicated counters, the DMRC today said.

The book fair hosted at the Pragati Maidan runs January 7-15.

"The tickets for the upcoming book fair will be sold from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (January 7-15) at 48 selected metro stations. Ticket sale timing from Pragati Maidan station is from 10.00 AM to 5:00 PM," a DMRC official said.

"Out of these stations, some stations will have exclusive ticket counters for sale of tickets and tokens and rest of the stations, the tickets will be sold from the existing Customer Care Centres," the official added.
 

The timing of the fair is from 11 AM to 8 PM from January 7-14 and from 11 AM to 5 PM on January 15. The cost of tickets for an adult is Rs 30 and for children it is Rs 20.

Besides at Pragati Maidan, tickets would be available at NOIDA City Centre, Vaishali, Rajendra Place, Dwarka sector 21, among other places.

On Line 2 or Yellow Line (Samaypur Badli - HUDA City Centre), stations that would sell tickets for the fair are -- Jahangirpuri, GTB Nagar, Vishwavidyalaya, Chandni Chowk, New Delhi, Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, INA, Hauz Khas, Saket, MG Road, HUDA City Centre, the official said.

On Line 1 or Red Line (Dilshad Garden - Rithala), Dilshad Garden, Kashmere Gate, Inderlok, Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura, Rohini West, Rithala would be selling book fair tickets.

On Line 5 or Green Line (Inderlok/ Kirti Nagar - Mundka), Ashok Park Main, Punjabi Bagh, Paschim Vihar East, Mundka would be selling fair tickets while Dhaula Kuan, IGI Airport stations would be selling tickets on the Airport Express Line.

On Line 6 or Violet Line (ITO - Escorts Mujesar), Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Nehru Place, Badarpur, Old Faridabad, Bata Chowk, Escorts Mujesar stations would sell fair tickets.
