Selected commodities price move up, rest no change

Prices of thoor dal, moong dal, gram dal and maida increased while that of other commodities ruled steady at the wholesale foodgrain market in the week ended today.

Prices of thoor dal and gram dal rose by Rs 300 and Rs 200 per quintal each to Rs 8,000 and Rs 7,700 on Monday from its last week's closing rate of Rs 7,700 and Rs 7,500 and maintained the same trend.

Likewise, moong dal was up by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs 7,500 on the opening day from its previous rate of Rs 7,400 and remained at the same rate.

In addition, maida (90 kg) moved up by Rs 100 to Rs 2,700 on Monday from its previous rate of Rs.2,600 and traded at the same rate today.
 

However, urad dal (Rs 9,600), sugar (Rs 4,250), wheat (Rs 2,700) and sooji (90 kg) (Rs 3,200) ruled steady throughout the whole week.
