Selena Gomez checked into rehab to cure hard-partying habits?

Singer-actress Selena Gomez checked into a rehab last month not for substance abuse but reportedly to cure her hard-partying habits.

The 21-year-old singer checked into Dawn of the Meadows facility in Arizona on January 5, around the time she cancelled her tour dates in Asia and Australia in order to focus on herself, reported Radar Online.

"Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows but not for substance abuse," her representative said in a statement.

Gomez was in the facility for approximately two weeks as her hard-partying habits had her friends and family worried.

The facility has been described as a "groundbreaking, intensive, experientially-based, inpatient treatment program for emerging adults ages 18-26 who struggle with emotional trauma, addiction, or dual diagnosis concerns.
