Actress Selma Blair has joined the cast of "Heathers", Paramount Network's television reboot of the 1988 cult classic film of the same name.
Blair will essay the role of Jade, the stepmother of Heather Duke (Brendan Scannell), in the new version, reported Variety.
"Heathers," which will debut in 2018, is an hour-long dark comedy set in the present day with a different but equally villainous group of Heathers.
Original "Heathers" cast member Shannon Doherty is set to guest start in the show, along with the ensemble cast including Grace Victoria Cox as Veronica Sawyer, James Scully as JD, Melanie Field as Heather Chandler, and Jasmine Mathews as Heather McNamara.
