Sena's Bhandara district chief joins BJP

Shiv Sena's district chief today joined the BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha by-election for Bhandara-seat.

A former BJP leader, Patle had quit the saffron party when he was denied an Assembly ticket in 2014. He contested seat on the Sena ticket but lost.

The by-elections were necessitated because of the resignation of Nana Patole, from Bhandara-Gondia, and the death of Chintaman Wanga, from Palghar.
