Senior journalist Manoj Srivastava passes away

Manoj Srivastava, a senior journalist with Hindi daily Amar Ujala, died today in Varanasi.

He was 50.

Srivastava, who had extensively covered the Ayodhya dispute, had also worked with Navjeevan, Dainik Jagran and Current Weekly.

UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has expressed profound grief over the demise of Srivastava.

Uttar Pradesh Accreditation Committee has also expressed grief over the death of Srivastava, who is survived by his wife and daughter.
