Seven killed in accident in China

At least seven people have been killed and eight others injured when a van plunged off a cliff in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

The van was carrying passengers to a funeral when it fell off a cliff in Meigu county yesterday, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

The injured were being treated at a nearby hospital.
