Seven-year-old girl raped by neighbour in Kerala

A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her 63-year-old neighbour here following which the accused was arrested today, police said.

The victim was playing near her home when the man took her inside his house and sexually assaulted her on May 1, they said.

A case was registered on the basis of a complaint lodged by the girl's mother, police said, adding the accused has been arrested.
