Sex racket busted in UP, 7 arrested

Seven persons including five women and two men were arrested for allegedly running a sex racket in Panki area here, police said today.

According to a police spokesperson, a girl had on October 5 registered a complaint against two women alleging that they were running flesh trade in Raniganj locality in Panki.

Police conducted a raid last night at the given address and the accused duo was arrested, the spokesperson said.

A case has been registered under relevant sections of IPC, the official said adding that further investigations are underway.
