A layer of shallow to moderate fog enveloped the national capital this morning, delaying the services of 41 trains.
According to the official website of Indira Gandhi International Airport, flight operations were not affected.
The visibility was recorded at 800 metres at 5:30 AM. It dropped to 600 metres three hours later, a MeT department official said.

The minimum temperature settled at 8.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
At 8:30 AM, the relative humidity was recorded at 100 percent, he said.
"Skies are expected to remain mainly clear. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 21 degrees Celsius," the official added.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 20.2 degrees Celsius and 11.6 degrees Celsius respectively.
