Shania Twain was shattered by divorce

Singer Shania Twain says she was "shattered" by her divorce with Robert Lange.

The "That Don't Impress Me Much" hitmaker says she was devastated when she found out her then husband and her best friend had betrayed her by running off with each other.

Twain admits it was a tough time for her as she was also battling Lyme disease, according to Contactmusic.

"I never thought I would sing again... I was shattered.

"How many more traumatic moments can I take? I wasn't just broken, I was shattered," Twain.
