Shares important bilateral relationship with India: US

The US has a very important bilateral relationship with India, a senior State Department official has said.

"We have a very important bilateral relationship with India and a very robust and thorough diplomatic exchange with our partners," the State Department spokesman Patrick Ventrell told reporters here.

The US Secretary of State John Kerry is expected to travel to India later this summer for the next round of annual India-US Strategic Dialogue. The schedule of the trip is yet to be announced.
