Shia LaBeouf to retire from spotlight?

'Transformers' star Shia Labeouf says he is planning to retire from the public life in the wake of plagiarism accusations.

The 27-year-old actor was recently accused for plagiarising artist Daniel Clowes' words and drawing from a 2007 comic for his film, reported Ace Showbiz.

"In light of the recent attacks against my artistic integrity, I am retiring from all public life," LaBeouf tweeted.

LaBeouf later apologized to Clowes in a series of tweets and on New Year's Eve, he hired a skywriter to produce an "I am sorry Daniel Clowes" message over the LA skyline, about 375 miles south of where the comic book author lives.
