The tiger who was shifted to Sajjangarh Biological Park here from Ranthambhore National Park is doing fine at the new place, a senior official of forest department today said.
The tiger, who was accused of attacking humans, was shifted from his natural territory ten days back amid objections by activists.
The tiger had recently killed a forest guard in Sawaimadhopur's R N Park and has attacked other people also.
"The tiger is absolutely healthy and adopting the new environment. He is moving around the enclosure in a normal way. Activities of the tiger are being regularly watched through CCTV camera," conservator of forest (wildlife)- Udaipur, Rahul Bhatnagar told reporters today.
He said any decision of shifting this tiger to elsewhere, if necessary, would be taken by the government.
Some activists had objected shifting of the tiger from the R N Park saying the decision was taken in a hurry, a charge rejected by the department.
