SHO held while taking bribe: ACB

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Rajasthan police today arrested a station house officer (SHO) for taking Rs 1.5 lakh as bribe in Sikar district.

SHO Lakshmangarh, Hoshiyar Singh, was arrested while accepting the bribe amount from middleman Farooq, who was also held, an ACB spokesperson said.

Singh had demanded bribe from the complainant for removing his name from an alleged to suicide case, the spokesman said.
