Shares of Shriram Transport Finance Company today zoomed almost 10 per cent after reporting a 24.53 per cent rise in net profit for the first quarter ended June 30.
The company's stock soared 9.77 per cent to end at Rs 1,409.80 on the BSE. During the day, it zoomed 12.36 per cent to Rs 1,443.15.
On the NSE, shares of the company jumped 9.92 per cent to close at Rs 1,411.
Shriram Transport Finance Company today reported a 24.53 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 572.9 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2018.
Its net profit in the April-June quarter of 2017-18 stood at Rs 460.02 crore.
Its total revenue during the reported quarter increased by 19.91 per cent to Rs 3,739.85 crore, from Rs 3,118.68 crore in the same period a year ago, Shriram Transport Finance Company (STF) said in a BSE filing.
