Australian singer Sia has released her new song, which she has written with Oscar-winner Adele.
On September 24, Sia released online the track called "Alive" as the first preview of her upcoming album "This Is Acting", reported Aceshowbiz.
The drum-heavy up-tempo ballad was co-written by Sia, Adele and and Tobias Jesso Jr, and was originally meant for the British beauty's new album. The track was eventually rejected by the 26-year-old singer at the last minute.
"It's about Adele's life, so I now sing a song from Adele's perspective," Sia said of the song in a recent interview.
"This Is Acting" will be Sia's first album since last year's "1000 Forms of Fear" which debuted at Number 1 on Billboard 200.
Still having no official release date, the upcoming set is scheduled to come out later this year via Monkey Puzzle Records/RCA Records.
