Siblings mowed down by truck

A brother and a sister, both in their twenties, were allegedly crushed to death by a truck in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district on Monday, police said.

Suman (23) and his brother, Tejbir Singh (20), were travelling on a bike when it collided with a speeding truck near Kailashnagar village under Ratan Puri police station, a police officer said.

The driver escaped with the vehicle and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem, the official said.
