Himachal Pradesh today witnessed a significant increase in day temperatures with Una in Shivalik foothills recording the maximum temperature at 28.2 degrees Celsius, five degree above normal, local MeT office said.
Sundernagar and Bhuntar recorded a high of 25.7 and 25.6 degrees Celsius.
Nahan, Solan, Palampur, Dharamshala, Shimla, Manali, Kalpa and Keylong recorded a high of 22.5, 23.2, 20.3, 20.0,17.7, 16.2,15.2 and 4.5 degrees Celsius respectively.

The minimum temperatures also rose by few notches and Keylong was coldest in the region with a low of minus 6.8 degrees Celsius, while Kalpa and Manali recorded minimum temperatures at minus 0.4 degrees Celsius.
It was followed by Bhuntar, Solan, Shimla,Palampur, Una and Dharamsala.
