Simon Cowell wants son to join One Direction as drummer

Music mogul Simon Cowell has joked his son should be One Direction's new drummer.

Cowell, 55, shared an adorable video of the seven-month-old tot hitting a drum online and praised his little one for his musical ability, reported Daily Mirror.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Cowell said, "One Direction have just hired Eric as their new drummer."

Cowell and his partner Lauren Silverman welcomed their first child into the world in February.
