Six history-sheeters were today arrested in connection with house-breaking thefts here, and booty worth Rs 50 lakh was seized from them, police said.
According to Police Commissioner Gowtam Sawang, four of the gang members involved in several break-ins in the area belong to West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh while two are from Madhya Pradesh.
Also, police recovered 1.6 kgs of gold and 8.25 kgs of silver from the accused.
