Two minor girls and a 90-year-old woman were raped in separate incidents and six persons were arrested in connection with the incidents occurred in Garwah and Simdega districts, the police said.
A girl was today allegedly raped by four persons at a place under Bano police station in Simdega and all the accused were arrested, Simdega Superintendent of Police A V Minz said.
The names of the arrested were not immediately available.
In Garhwa district, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour at Sonpurua early in the morning when she went to the nearby paddy field, Sub-divisional police officer Ratneshwar Thakur said and added Ramjan Shah was arrested in the case.
In the third incident committed last night in Garhwa, a 90-year-old woman was allegedly raped by her neighbour R S Dubey Jhula village last night, Thakur said.
Dubey was arrested today, he added.
