Police teams today raided ice cream shops and their manufacturing units besides dairy units here and arrested six persons in separate cases on the charge that they indulged in adulteration of food.
Police during their raids also found that the arrested accused without obtaining licence and permission from Food authorities also indulged in adulterated sweet preparation and ice creams by using white wash cement, artificial chemical food colours, a release from Hyderabad Police Commissionerate said.
Similarly, Rachakonda Police Commissionerate in a release said they arrested four persons after they raided dairy units and found that the accused were adulterating milk, curd and ghee and they were also running the dairy units without necessary permissions.
