Six killed in van-car collision

Six people, including two children, died while one person was injured in a collision between a van and a car near here today, police said.

The deceased were travelling in the car and they were returning from a marriage party from Humnabad near Bidar, Bidar Superintendent of Police Nikam Prakash Amrit said.

One person, who was travelling in the car, sustained head injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Kalburgi, he said.

His condition is stated to be serious, he added.
