Six pilgrims injured in road mishap in Punjab

Six pilgrims, including two women, hailing from the same family, were injured when their car collided with a mini-truck near Darveshpind village on Phagwara-Nakodar road, police said today.
The pilgrims were going from Badaur in Barnala to Mata Chintpurni shrine in Himachal Pradesh when the accident took place, they said.
Balwinder, her husband Vijay, their kin Veena Rani and Jaspal, who were seriously injured have been admitted to Civil hospital here and they were stated to be out of danger, police said, adding the other two sustained minor injuries.
