Skipper Ltd, which is engaged in manufacturing of PVC pipes and transmission towers, today said that it has bagged orders worth Rs 120 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd for the supply of transmission towers.
"Company has secured two new orders from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for the supply of transmission towers in the domestic market," the company said in a filing to the BSE.
"The total order is valued to be approximately worth Rs 120 crores," the filing said.
Skipper Ltd had reported 9.55 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 18.69 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2015.
The company had earlier said it will keep focusing on both national and international markets by expanding manufacturing capacity in the coming quarters.
