A skull, smeared with 'kumkum and sandalwood paste, was today found at the entrance of AIADMK's local unit office here, causing a flutter among the partymen, police said.
Ramalingam, Perur unit secretary of the party, was taken aback when he found the skull along with smeared lemon as he came to open the office.
Other party workers who gathered there were scared by the sight and felt it was a witchcraft act to strike fear, police said.
The skull was removed and special pooja performed to offset the impact of blackmagic.
