Twenty six Sri Lankan refugees lodged at the Central Prison camp here commenced relay fast today demanding their release.
The Sri lankan Tamils refugee camp special tahsildhar Natarajan held talks with them.
Jail officials said 32 refugees who had been lodged in the special camp in the Jail included those who tried to go to Australia illegally, who were involved in criminal cases and those who arrived without Passport. Of them 26 persons are observing relay fast from today.
