A portion of a slab of the bridge on Versova-Ghatkopar stretch collapsed on Andheri-Kurla road in Marol, official sources said.
Police and fire brigade personnel have reached the scene and cranes are being used to remove the debris.
Sources said the two injured persons have been taken to hospital and rescuers were searching for others who might be trapped under the debris.
