Smuggled liquor seized; 2 held

A truck allegedly laden with smuggled liquor worth lakhs of rupees was seized today in the Link Road area here and two persons arrested, police said.

According to police, a team of excise officials, along with police personnel, intercepted a mini-truck in the Link Road area here which was allegedly found to be laden with smuggled liquor.

The two occupants of the truck, identified as Rashid and Ansh, have been apprehended, police added.
