'Jersey Shore' star Nicole Polizzi, popularly known as Snooki, has tied the knot with Jionni LaValle.
The 27-year-old reality star wed LaValle in a lavish ceremony in New Jersey on Saturday. The couple, who were engaged for two years before tying the knot, chose a themed wedding inspired by The Great Gatsby, reported People magazine.
The wedding ceremony took place at St Rose of Lima, a catholic church in East Hanover. The newlyweds' reception was then held at the Venetian in Garfield, New Jersey.
In keeping with the Gatsby theme, there was a scotch and cigar bar for guests to enjoy.
Some of Snooki's former 'Jersey Shore' cast mates attended the event. Jenni Farley, aka JWoww, served as bridesmaid for her best friend. Another former cast mate, Paul DelVecchio also attended the ceremony.
The couple became engaged in March 2012 and there has been much debate amongst her fans about when they would finally tie the knot.
Snooki and LaValle have two children together, Lorenzo (aged 3) and Giovanna Marie (aged 3 months).
