'Modern Family' star Sofia Vergara is venturing into the perfume business and she would be unveiling her feminine fragrance next month.
The perfume that has been named Sofia will be available for sale from April 24, reported People magazine.
"I wanted to make sure it was a great product and that I was going with the right people. I usually don't like getting into things where I don't have a say. I just don't want to give them my name and say, 'Do whatever you want'," Vergara said.
"I am trying to create my brand. I've been able to do many other projects. I have my clothing line, the makeup, the hair, the furniture, and this was something that really rounds out my brand," she added.
For Vergara, her debut fragrance smells like home.
"I have orchids and roses because those are my favourite flowers, and they're Colombian. I wanted to bring a little bit of who I am, my ethnicity, where I'm from, and I thought it was very cool to be able to get flowers from Colombia actually into the perfume," she said.
