Soil health cards for about 5.25 lakh farmers in Haryana will be made to maintain fertility of the farm land.
Stating this, Agriculture Minister Om Parkash Dhankar said the state government is committed to increase the agricultural productivity of the farmers.
Under this scheme, in the first phase, till March 2016, 2.5 lakh samples of agricultural land of 2,200 villages in 40 blocks of Haryana would be collected with a target of making Soil Health Cards of 5.25 lakh farmers, he said.
