Son kills elderly mother

A son allegedly killed his

60-year-old mother after she refused to give him money.

The son, Manjeet, hit his mother with a brick late last night in Japlinganj area when she did not give him the money he had asked for, police said. The woman later died due to injuries.

The accused son has been arrested.
