Sonia okays Cong candidate for Arunachal assembly bypoll

Congress president Sonia Gandhi today approved the candidature of Gum Tayeng for the bye-election of Dambuk assembly seat in Arunachal Pradesh.

The bye-election, which is to be held on October, was necessiated due to the death of Jomin Tayeng in May this year.
