Kolkata cueist Sourav Kothari entered the National Billiards final even as multiple world champion Pankaj Advani bowed out in the quarter-finals here today.
Sourav, who won the national championship in 2014, outplayed Dhvaj Haria 4-1 in the semi-final to set up a clash with Siddhartha Parekh, who beat B Bhaskar 4-0 in the last- four encounter, in the title clash.
Advani though had an off day when he was done in by Parekh in the quarters battle. Parekh will play his first billiards national final tomorrow.
