South Bengal likely to receive rains tomorrow

The metropolis and its suburbs will receive light to moderate rain in the next two days which would be a respite from the gruelling heat that parts of West Bengal have been experiencing for some days.
The entry of south-easterly winds caused by the formation of a depression over the central Bay of Bengal moving toward the Odisha coast would result in rains in south Bengal, MeT office sources told PTI.
The maximum temperature recorded in the metropolis was 38.1 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal.
